Last night after dinner, we decided to go out for a drink in my neighborhood.
We went to la Conserverie, which is just a few blocks away from my place, tucked away on a very quiet street. It's pleasantly dim and they make delicious drinks. I tried a Vesper for the first time. Gin, vodka, Lillet and long strip of lemon peel. Mmm.
I like la Conserverie quite a bit. It's quiet and uncrowded enough that you can have an actual conversation. A very good place to unwind on a Friday evening.
