On Saturday, we went to a wedding.
The wedding was at a country club in Napa. It was intended to be, at least partially, an outdoor wedding, but when we arrived at 5:30 in the pouring rain, we found that they had pushed the ceremony back an hour in hopes that the weather would clear up. In the meanwhile, all of us guests got to tuck into the champagne early.
And what do you know- by 6:30 the rain stopped and the sun came out.
It was a lovely wedding and a splendid beginning to the long weekend. Congratulations to our friends Molly and Chris!
