As a surprise for her engagement, my friend Ashley's mother threw her and her fiance a soiree at Foreign Cinema this weekend.
It was adorable- she was completely surprised. There was hardly a dry eye in the house.
After milling around and meeting some of the out of town visitors and the champagne toasts, we sat down to dinner.
It was a lovely celebration and a lovely night.
